Holy Trinity E-Newsletter V2 #16 4/13/16

Welcome to Volume 2 Number 15 of this E-Newsletter.

One of the highlights of my week is Monday mornings. Monday is one of the days I get Elijah all to myself and in the mornings we go to music class. It is about 45 minutes of singing, dancing, playing instruments and exploring the world of music. He doesn't interact with the music in the same way that the kids that are 1 or 2 years old do, but he loves it.

We recently started a new cycle of songs and there is one that I just cannot get out of my head. The line that keeps returning in the song and the line that I can't get out of my head is this "Spring has sprung and so have you!" It is a rather obvious word, especially when singing with children. They are growing constantly and times of the year like Spring is when they become the most active.

It caused me to pause again this past Monday when we sang the line and it hit me again how appropriate this line was not just about the Spring time but for our post Resurrection life! Jesus has rose from the grave and so no longer are we dead to sin but we are alive as well. We have rose, we have sprung, and this is the perfect time to dwell not only in the joy of this resurrected life. But to really and truly embrace that resurrection life! Jesus was sprung from the grace and so have you!

Now is not the time to just sit back and think or wonder about what life might or could be like. Now is the time to lean into that resurrection and experience that new life in Christ, those new relationships with one another, those lives of forgiveness and those lives of possibilities in Christ.

So set that browser to good search and select Holy Trinity and get searching.
